Workshops
Join us for a workshop!
You’ll be amazed by the plethora of information and lessons offered by our fantastic workshop instructors. Our workshops cover subjects such as gardening, nutrition, nutrient dense foods, natural remedies, essential oils, and much more!
Our goal is to host one workshop a week which will always be on Tuesday. The workshop schedule will rotate from 10:30 AM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM for the community’s convenience. The farm brings workshops to the community as an outreach to share the wealth of knowledge we have attained over the years. We do not charge for these events but allow the speakers to charge a fee to cover their time and supplies. We hope everyone will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
Please share this with all your friends and family and RSVP via FB Events and/or Meet-Up.

The next workshop is:

Build a Rain Barrel Workshop with Ken
Tue. Mar. 24, 2015 @ 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Building a rain barrel for your garden helps with water conservation. Each person will build their own rain barrel with Ken’s help. RSVP on facebook or meetup.

We start the new year all wanting to get healthier and start eating right and exercising but sometimes we get stuck because we eat and feel bloated and run down and loose our motivation.
When your digestive system is off, your health can suffer in all sorts of ways. In addition to digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), bloating, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, or gas, you may also experience food allergies, weight gain, eczema, exhaustion, asthma, and more.

*If unaddressed, these symptoms can manifest into chronic health conditions. *

Here are 10 things that you can do to heal your digestive system by Katrina at Mind Body Green…
1. Chew your food.

Good digestion starts in the mouth. When you chew your food well, it eases the work required from your digestive system, so your body can focus on other tasks instead.

2. Eat real foods.

Focus on whole, fresh foods. Avoid the “fake” stuff, including processed foods and fast-foods, which are typically high in refined salt, sugar, and processed oils. Also, they’re difficult for your body to digest, and they don’t provide any nutritional value.

3. Eat fermented and cultured foods.

Fermented foods are high in “good bacteria” and eating them will help you to regenerate your gut flora naturally. The greater the variety of fermented and cultured foods you can include in your diet, the better. Try eating sauerkraut, kefir, fermented vegetables, kimchi, or Kombucha. If you have a severe gut disorder, start slowly. Allow time for your internal environment to change and for your digestive system to become healthier and stronger.

Tell your friends about us so we can keep the Growers supported as this is how they make their living. *_

_Grower Highlight of the Week!

Bo & Lisa’s Lil Patch

Certified Naturally Grown

*_*Lisa Says…
Bo & Lisa are not new to farming , but are new to having our very own farm.
We have 14.28 acres in beautiful Aragon Ga., 70 miles from Lilburn, Ga. We share a passion and love for farming naturally with wholesome products that are good for your health and budget._

*_*Bo is a beekeeper! We have Italian bees and produce RAW honey . We only strain it once and never heat our honey, so that you receive the FULL nutritional benefits. Our bees are happy to pollinate our blueberry field._

*_*Yes! We are blueberry farmers too! Our blueberries shrubs are 4 years old and
are producing more each year. We do not use any chemicals, only a natural fossil substance (Diatomaceous Earth) that is edible and healthy for all to eat._

*_*We appreciate your willingness to support local farming and our desire to be good stewards of the land we have been given. We would like you to know that a portion of our sales go to a Christian Health Retreat and Healing Center (homeforhealth.net) in Kentucky for healing spiritually as well as physically through Jesus Christ . This facility is run by medical missionaries and is close to our hearts as Lisa is a cancer survivor! We donate funds to help with scholarships for those who have no means of getting help for their illness. We donate as well to other cancer centers such as the AFLAC Cancer Center for children in Atlanta. You can read about how Jesus healed Lisa at : http://www.cancer-research-awareness.com/god-healed-lisa.html
Thank you for letting us grow healthy nutrient dense food for your family and for helping to support these other causes. Be well friends and many blessings to you and your family.
In His service, Bo and Lisa*_*

I’m working to get natural dog and pet treats on the Market! Stay tuned for that!

I’m looking to post a survey real soon to see everyone’s interest in different items. We have opportunities to get some really cool items but there are minimum limits for some to get them offered on the Market. So be looking for that as I share the wonderful items available to us and see your interest!

Is anyone interested in Azure Standard? They are a group buy that is delivered once a month. We have the opportunity to participate….so go on

Please share with friends and family about us so that we can give more people the opportunity to buy and eat healthy! Local farmers need our support to keep providing us with all the fresh foods! If we don’t give them enough business, it’s hard for them to continue to deliver to us. Please let’s not let that happen!
