We are milking Fanny and celebrating 15 years
Hello Everyone,
It’s been a while since we have communicated here.
A lot has happened on the farm and we keep evolving.
We have some good news to share: Fanny, the one milk cow we kept from our milking herd, finally freshened 2 weeks ago, and we are back to milking again.
We only have a limited quantity of milk, and are looking for weekly pick-ups of the surplus milk we don’t consume along with a cow share option for a day or 2 off of farm chores in exchange for milk and eggs.
Also, can you believe it’s been 15 years that we started? And we are celebrating in a big way. We are opening to the public and there is so much to see on the farm with all the changes we’ve gone through over the years. We would love to see you and catch up with you, and see those young kids how they have grown. We now have a granddaugther and our youngest started college. Time has just flown by.

Gwinnett Locally Grown Market Status
Dear Market Customer,
Thank you so much for your support. We know the market has been sporadic this year. Due to low orders and our other commitments at Rancho Alegre Farm the market will be closed until further notice. We feel this is the best step until we can give it the focus it needs and the community would be able to support it.
We are focusing first on some amazing workshops that will include topics such as homesteading, cooking, gardening and more with the hopes of building relationships with workshop attendees that will support the market.
If you would like to be notified about our workshops please sign up for our weekly newsletter here – http://ranchoalegrefarm.com/learn/workshops/
If you feel you have a great topic you and are interested in teaching a workshop feel free to fill out our wokshop instructor form here – http://ranchoalegrefarm.com/learn/workshops/workshop-instructor-form/
As always thank you for your support.

Important GLG Market Announcement
Happy Holidays to our Market Customers,
We appreciate your recent orders from the GLG Marketplace. We were very excited to reopen our market in November due to interest from many previous buyers and new visitors to the farm.
We know it’s a crazy busy time for everyone and our orders have been very low since we reopened. This means it is not financially viable for our farmers or ourselves to keep the market open at this time so we think it would be best to close and reopen in the new year and will let you know when we do!
We are looking for an employee to help us with running the market when we reopen and help market the launch for it. If you or someone you know would be interested we’d love to hear from you. Please email us at grow@ranchoalegrefarm.com
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Ranch Alegre Farm Family and The Gwinnett Locally Grown Farmers and Staff

We are very excited for the changes in the market. Last week we announced the new produce box service but need a minimum of 30 boxes to be able to deliver and we promise you’ll be sorry if you miss out on this amazing organic produce. Order one today and try it out! If we don’t reach our minimum we’ll notify you before charging your order so don’t worry about that.
We’ve also added some new staff to our team and we are in the process of adding some new vendors to bring you more products to choose from.
We hope you are as excited as we are and please feel free to email us with items you’d like us to try and source for the market to make it better for you and everyone else.
Thanks so much,
