GARDEN NEWS
We are making a concentrated effort to grow veggies for market and are starting work on the fall garden. Fall gardens consist of short-season cool-weather crops so we will see what we can come up with.

If there is something in particular you would like to see, either in the fall or for next spring’s plantings, please let us know. Farmers and gardeners need to start planning in the late fall or early winter for the next seasons’ crops in order to have time to order seed, sometimes start them in a greenhouse, then plant and grow. Some things like strawberries and garlic, need planted in the fall for harvest the next summer.

If there’s something you would buy, please let us know! Barring any type of calamity, we fully plan on having organic strawberries next May or (or thereabouts. the weather last year was awfully weird and some crops ran a full month later than usual!)

Anyway, I’ll have my pen and paper at market Tuesday to take notes!!!!

My best to all -

Shop often and eat well!
