Natural Elements Organic Soaps: FIRST TIME LISTING! Soaps are 100% natural, organic and have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties to speed up the healing processes. NEOS uses all kinds of super-healthy oils in the making of their soap (see product listings). Each product contains Omega 3,6,9, A, D, and K giving your body all the essentials it needs. The intensely moisturizing formula is what makes it so good at battling dry skin disorders such as Eczema, Psoriasis, infatigo, lesions, boils, acne, or shingles. Available in five varieties: Fresh & Local: Bath & Beauty: Soap.

Hand-Crafted Olive Oil Soap: Dawewood Farm: FarmHouse Hand-Crafted Olive Oil Soap is made from saponified olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance oil & spices, herbs or grains if indicated. Great for sensitive skin, moisturizing and has such a luxurious lather! Available in five fragrances. Fresh & Local: Bath & Beauty: Soap

Lucky Dog Healthy Dog Treats: Lucky Dog Treats are organic and healthy dog treats with ingredients that include our farm fresh eggs (organic/non-gmo/non-soy), pumpkin (loaded with fiber and betacarotene), parsley for breath (parsley is also high in vit C and A, aids arthritis, helps reduce some cancers, aids in asthma and is a good source of folic acid!), wheat germ (rich in fiber, vitamins B and E and one of the best sources of zinc!), Coconut oil (skin health, digestion, immune booster, metabolic health), flax seeds (rich in omega 3 fatty acids, they also help to pass toxins out of the body!)cinnamon (anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory), ginger (anti-inflammatory boosts blood circulation) The big plus is that dogs LOVE THEM! Lucky dogs indeed! Fresh & Local: Pet Food & Treats

Organic Fruit & Nut Granola: Tasty and VERY healthy granola mix! This is my own recipe with a combination of whole oats, slivered almonds, pecans, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, coconut oil, pure maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon and local raw honey. Packaged in pint Mason jars for you to re-purpose. I have heard wild rumors that Ellen may be working on an additional flavor to offer! Fresh & Local: Baked Goods: Cereal & Granola.

MARKET UPDATES
Veggies: Currently we have peppers, okra, butternut squash and some cherry tomatoes (Sungold is my favorite snack this time of year!) The late summer heat is making it kind of difficult to project what will be sellable six days out as farmers typically add inventory on Wednesdays. I’ll share in Sunday’s blog if new things come up!

Flavored Butters & Cheeses – I texted a little with Russell last night while he was out in the field on his tractor. He’s trying to get the silage made for his cows (cutting the corn plants off and fermenting it for feed later in the season, with all of those healthy probiotics!!!) so he can get to his value-added products, so he can get them on market, so we can order them to enjoy. We made silage for our beef herd back in the day, and I imagine August in Georgia, using an open-air tractor is much worse than in September in Ohio with an air-conditioned cab. I don’t know how Russell stores his but ours was a concrete bunker requiring a bulldozer, topped with a huge tarp and tires to keep the tarp in place. Strenuous, sweaty work indeed!

Pork & Beef: Benji has seven cuts of his yummy pork listed this week and Fred has 17 cuts of his wonderful grass-fed, grass-finished beef! Brady has pork shares available. I’m still looking for a freezer ~ sigh ~

Chicken: Tracy has moved to delivering every six weeks or so and we are scheduled for a drop this Saturday! Please consider buying your own package (starts at $99) next go-around as we simply do not have storage space for six weeks for market :-(
