NEW Referral Program - Market OPEN

Starting TODAY!

Refer-a-Friend Program

Beginning this week, we are implementing a new referral program. When a customer views their cart, there is a spot for comments that says “comments for market managers”. When a new customer puts YOUR name in the comments section of their first order, they will be credited $5 off that order and YOUR account will be credited $5 off your next order. Refer as many people as you want, but they must be new customers placing their first order. Your $5 off discounts can add up quickly, so hurry and tell a friend!

Don’t forget to follow us on facebook and on instagram @gwinnettlocallygrown for discount codes and promotions!

With today’s e-mail, I am not including a total list of our market products. I would like to eliminate unnecessary length to the e-mails you receive. How do you feel about this change? I’m always listening to your suggestions.

The market is open! Happy ordering!
Amanda

The Market is open Thursday at 9am – Monday at noon
After Monday at noon, ordering is disabled until Thursday morning.

Pick up your order Tuesday from 4-7pm only at Rancho Alegre Farm at 2225 Givens Road, Dacula, GA 30019.

As Always….

Please share with friends and family about us so that we can give more people the opportunity to buy and eat healthy! Local farmers need our support to keep providing us with all the fresh foods! If we don’t give them enough business, it’s hard for them to continue to deliver to us. Please let’s not let that happen! Tell your friends about us so we can keep the Growers supported as this is how they make their living.

Thank you to all of you who support Gwinnett Locally Grown!

If there is something you’d like to see in the Market, please let me know! I would love your input!

Remember…
The Market has extended their hours! The Market is now open for pickup from 4-7pm on Tuesday!
Having said that, if you place an order with us, PLEASE remember to pick it up on Tuesday. We cannot hold orders, especially cold items due to limited refrigeration space, so please be courteous and come for your order.

Happy October! I just want to thank you all for reading this and for visiting the market each week and placing orders. Every time an order comes in I get a little more excited to be a part of this team. I love meeting you all on Tuesdays and providing you with such great items from the market. I have a few plans in the near future to get your feedback on the market and make any improvements you suggest that will keep you coming back. If you have anything in mind already, please send me an e-mail grow@ranchoalegrefarm.com with your feedback. I deeply value your opinions and look forward to hearing them.

Please don’t forget about our fresh raw milk supply (labeled for pet consumption) and tell a friend :)

We also have essential oils on the
market!

There are over 3,000 identified varieties of these compounds. Distilled directly from their plant sources, these oils have endless applications to our health. We provide only the purest oils on our market. doTERRA essential oils can be applied topically, diffused, or taken internally. Our plants are grown in optimal soil, temperature and climate to produce the purest oil. doTERRA also tests rigorously for purity, efficacy and consistency. Certified pure and free of contaminants, doTERRA oils are offered at our market. If you need help choosing the right oil for your lifestyle or ailments, please contact me at the market!

Thank you so much,
Amanda

Welcome to Fall! My name is Amanda and I am the new market manager. Yesterday marked the first day of Fall and it was beautiful here in Gwinnett. I live just around the corner from the farm in Dacula on a small horse pasture with my two dogs, a Great Dane and a foster Flatcoated Retriever.

The market is something we truly believe in and we think everyone should know about it! We now have an instagram page and are looking to get the word out there about supporting Gwinnett Locally Grown. Follow us @gwinnettlocallygrown and tag us #gatherlearngrown :)

Did you know we have our own SCOBY population at the farm and sell Kombucha starter kits at the market?

Kombucha tea is a fermented black or green tea used as a functional beverage. Drinkers cite many health benefits, including immune support and aiding in digestive health. But what exactly is it? A SCOBY is a Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast. This is added to sugar and tea so it can ferment. The result is a delicious, effervescent tea rich in probiotics. YUMMY!!

Cheryl will be sitting in with me on Tuesday to finish my training. I look forward to meeting you all! -Amanda

Veggie Patch has some seedlings available for you this week. And if you’ve never tried their salsa, I highly recommend it. It’s so good that I haven’t bought any other salsa in a couple years.
There are whole chickens listed, and wings, backs, etc just waiting to made into bone broth or stock.
Part One of the Wine Making Class is on Tuesday. Don’t miss it! All the details are below.

As I mentioned last week, we’re in between growing seasons and vegetable production is down, but this really is a great time to order meat. There’s a nice selection of beef and chicken listed on the market, and you can still reserve a share of one of Double B’s hogs.
